Designed for people who have little or no experience with the shotgun as well as advanced.
Number of participants per group: min 4 – 10 persons
Duration: 1 x 8 or 2 x 8 hours with lunch break

Participants can use the offered weapons of the organizer as well as their own.
The course includes the theory and practice of shooting with the shotgun as well as the loading and
changing of ammunition under combat conditions.

In the training, the firing positions are; Standing, kneeling, lying as well as out of movement. The
participants are given an excellent knowledge which allows specific and precise firing with the shotgun, use
and change of the different ammunition varieties adapted to the situation as well as the quick reload under
stress conditions.

The aim of the course is to develop and expand skills and experience in the handling of the shotgun.
The attendees gradually gain an insight into the advanced techniques and tactics when dealing with this
weapon system. The student should develop the skills to improve his speed, accuracy and security in
dealing with this type of weapon. The training units are intensive, realistic and physically demanding.

 
Training units:
Basic course 8 hours:

• ammunition types, purpose of different cartridges
• Use of the shotgun in different scenarios and the limitations of this weapon
• Evaluation of the abilities of the individual participants
• Basic position and basis for a quick draw of the gun during shooting
• techniques for using the shotgun in melee situations
• Techniques for fast reloading with empty magazine (left hand right hand, special position)
• Techniques for rapid change of ammunition type (situation-related)
• Training and implementation of the techniques learned so far during exercises at the shooting range

Course for advanced students 8 hours:

• “Situational Awareness” Shooting with open eyes
• techniques for shooting in movement (front, side, back)
• Use of different ammunition with reloading under battle conditions
• Final test with “Fun shooting”

(shot, slug, special ammunition) Ear protection, goggles, knee protectors.
